Bulletin News From March 5, 2017

THE LORD'S SUPPER will be served during our worship today.  Those who know Jesus as Savior are invited to join us in taking communion.  Jesus instructed us, "Do this in remembrance of Me."

THE PREACHING TODAY is part of a sermon series called "The Road to the Cross."  This series, which is based on passages from the Book of Luke, follows the travels and teachings of Jesus as He makes his way to Jerusalem during the final months of His life.  Our text today, Luke 17:1-19, speaks of Jesus "on His way to Jerusalem," traveling "along the border between Samaria and Galilee."  (17:11).

NEXT SUNDAY, March 12, is the start of Daylight Savings Time.  Please note that clocks "Spring Forward" one hour.  That means we will lose an hour, but you need not lose an hour of sleep.  Next Sunday our worship will begin at 11:00 am, which will feel like our usual 10:00 am start time.

ALSO NEXT SUNDAY, Pastor Paul will meet with those interested in receiving Christian baptism, reviewing the Scriptures concerning baptism and helping the candidates prepare to be baptized.  We will meet after church, 12:30 pm.

OUR NEXT HOPE CHURCH BAPTISM SERVICE is two weeks from today.  Sunday, March 19.  6:00 pm.  The service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Northville building, 217 North Wing Street, Northville, 48167.  Worship, teaching, testimonies and baptisms.  You are invited.
